Great great show starring keri russells (before Mission Impossible), Scott Speedman (in the movie duets, and most probably the least famous boyfriend of Miss Estee Lauder endorser Gwyneth Paltrow) and Scott Foley (he was way before Ben Affleck became Jennifer Garner's husband and coincidentally they played lovers in certain seasons of the show)
This show brought back so much memories in me
i was then a naive secondary 1 kid with big aspirations of going University and this show just provided that much needed kick at 11pm every monday
Strangely , this show is being written by J.J Abrams who also went on to write Alias (ala Jennifer Garner) and LOST... what a transition... you see university life, secret agents and plane crash doesnt really flow
what i liked about felicity was the fact that she would record her emotions in a tape recorder... which also got her into trouble a couple of times and also her wondering about ben and noel
and also how because of ben she moved all the way to new york just to see him in school (sigh... love)
the funny thing was that ratings for this show actually dropped drastically because felicity went to have a haircut after the breakup with Ben ..hahaha
and she becoming really good friends with her gothic crazy roommate Meghan..

and had lessons non stop till 12pm
went up to MAC lab wanting to complete my publication assignment...
however she was chased out by the lecturer using that class
and sigh... there is only one mac lab in school
so she waited all the way till 6pm cause thats when the MAC lab is officially empty..
completed her assignment at 8.30pm...12 hours since her first lesson of the day started
decided to go up to the fifth level to take a peek at paparazzi...
stayed till 915pm... by then she was freezing and really hungry
went home...
reach her place at 1030pm
went to macdonalds...
ate her dinner in a park beside her block...
that was how her day went...

i completed 3 books by Mitch Albom....
that guy is a genius...
its amazing how deeply books can touched your soul...
i highly recommend 'tuesdays with morrie' and 'five people you meet in heaven'
both of these books has certainly changed one thing or two with regards to how i looked at life...
'tuesdays with morrie' talks about reconnection...
'five people you meet in heaven' talks about matters you tend to overlook in life and sadly realisation will only come after you die...
i finished 'the alchemist' by pauleo cohelo....this book talks about destiny and the worthiness of it to fulfil them...even madonna raves about it..so it has to be good

i love love love borders now... and as i have mentioned i can spent loads of time and money in that magical place...
i tend to amaze people when i tell them that i read a lot....
i find reading a very pleasant activity and at the same time make you a more complete person...
i find it very sexy when a person can conduct a rather intellectual discussion about the books that he/she has read....
replenishing my shelves with books is now a habitual routine in a week... hence more financial damages being incurred along the way....

i am going for a break in Australia at the end of the year if all goes well...fingers crossed... i missed my aunt and uncle and of course YOU "sun yi"...my ever so wise funny crackhead cousin from down under...with him around the conversation will never end...and we share the same love for SHOES....hahaha...its inhereditary i tell you....whenever we catch up, it always feels like i have never left Australia... Yes its just the magic of "Sunny Luo"

somehow... everytime i come back from a hoilday... the desire to get out of this country again just gets stronger each time....
i am not saying that i dont love this country... in fact i am damn proud to be a Singaporean... even prouder on national day and when i flash my red passport at the immigration checkpoints....
but somehow.. i feel that the agenda of the government is not really tuned to what i have in mind in my life....
sometimes i do think its rather depressing to slog your life away in the CBD of Singapore...ever notice why everyone in the CBD always looks so gloomy ?

i caught transformers just now...
its a movie of the year they say...
to a certain extent it really is... especially when you watched the cartoons(circa. late 80s and early 90s) when you were a lot younger...
brought back a lot of memories...
so i went dugging for my transformer toys in my store room and i found them....
secretly i thought i must have been a boy in my past life...

i went spring/summer/autumn/winter cleaning my room..
i attacked my closet first...
pumped up my radio with cassette tapes from the likes of Whitney houston
(before she became a crack head) and mariah carey.....
it was crazy...
i threw away so much clothings.... roughly around 10 pairs of shoes....
lots of t-shirts... and i still got more...its a bloody sin...
